Whahahaha!!! It's done. Marowak is done T_T
I finished Marowak today, just in time to hand it over to Steven tomorrow before he leaves for A-kon.

Marowak is almost done, yes?
It’s so hot outside, so it’s been hard to work on the Marowak costume. I put body filler on the head and bone on Monday. I went out of town Tuesday and came back last night. So, this is what the Marowak looked like earlier this afternoon.

Marowak Update

I was kind of an idiot and accidentally bought fiberglass resin instead of body filler like I had intended. Baby Commission
I almost forgot about this. During Christmas and Spring Break, I made a my first quilt and a matching memory board for my mom’s co-worker who was having a baby. I think they turned out pretty well. The quilt is pretty basic and instead of buy batting and backing, I backed it with black fleece.

2 Weeks Til Mama Monster!
So, as of tomorrow I have 2 weeks until the Lady Gaga concert and I have been trying very hard over my sadly brief and depressing spring break to frantically finish my costume. Though I did not finish, I got pretty far.
My jacket hasn’t been worked on since January, but it doesn’t need much more work.
I just need to cover the jacket with a few hundred more beads then repaint...

Paper!
I have to write a paper about a film that demonstrates points from an Ayn Rand article about trying to not portray Communism in films. I initially chose Iron Man, but upon reflection felt that was too obvious and instead chose the Dark Knight. I went from Marvel’s rich, playboy, self-made super hero to DC’s rich, playboy, self-made superhero. Yeah… I need to pick less nerdy...
