I’m watching Back to the Future Part 2 and my mindset of watching it is different now. I usually just watch it for fun, but I thought about it lately and that movie is only five years from now. Now it makes me feel conflicted because I’m disappointed we don’t have any of the things in that movie yet and I feel like it’s incredibly cheesy the stuff they do have is. However, I’ll still watch it even if it is 2016.
My name is LaRissa and I'm a huge nerd. I love sewing and making costumes and watching/making movies. I can quote all the Star Wars movies verbatim except for Attack of the Clones. Most of my post will be random things I find funny or notes on currant projects ranging from small sewing projects and costume research to film projects and cosplays. I'm currently a Senior in Film and Video Studies at the University of Oklahoma. That's right! I got a year and I get the hell out of Oklahoma! I've live in Oklahoma all my life and I'm ready to go away for a while, which is part of the reason why I'm a film studies major though I stayed in state after a failed attempt to leave the state for college was hindered by finances and an offer for a free Associates Degree that I earned last year that isn't really worth anything other than when I finish college I'll have one more degree than some others do. That and I love films, I can rant for hours about a film and not only do I love watching films I love to make them.
