My final film as a college student. This is Lost at Sea, my final project for both editing and capstone. Our capstone subject was adaptation and for our Senior project we had to adapted a written work. I chose a story that I felt emotionally connected to; Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Lost at Sea. If you like Scott Pilgrim, you need to read this one. Anyway, this is probably my best student work, though be warned, the last 5 minutes has bad audio that I couldn’t fix. I’m going to eventually go in and add subtitles because I no longer have the resources at my disposal to fix the film. I absolutely did not want to appear in this film so I could focus on directing and camera work, but I had an actress drop out the day we started shooting. Fortunately I had a great assistants that helped me with my vision. I loved how it turned out. And this was the first time that I got to take advantage of youtube’s new time allowance of 15 minutes.
